Role & Responsibilities:
We have a full-time job opening for a Senior Full Stack Engineer who will work closely with our CTO to architect and enhance functionality, develop our REST API and React JS backend, integrate with third-party systems, and improve test coverage, automation, and general code quality. The ideal candidate will be a team player who thrives in a startup environment. He or she will be asked to fill a leadership role within the engineering team that's working to save the American Dream of homeownership.
Qualifications:
Firm grasp of software engineering principles
B.S. or higher in Computer Science or related field
10+ years of relevant experience
Node.js and/or Java or other equivalent back-end technologies
Proficient with React or other (NextJS / Angular) front-end frameworks
JavaScript (Node.js and browser)
HTML / CSS experience
RESTful APIs (consuming or developing)
NoSQL databases (Redis, ElasticSearch, DynamoDB, MongoDB, etc.)
Demonstrated knowledge and experience working with production
systems and releases
Experience with Amazon AWS (EC2, Lambda, CloudFormation, DynamoDB, Route53, etc.), React Native (iOS, Android) and deployment/DevOps/configuration management is a plus but not a requirement.
